Welcome to the Western Art Associates, one of several suport groups for the benefit of Phoenix Art Museum in Phoenix, Arizona. Western Art Associates was organized in 1968 to assist in the acquisition and exhibition of the western American art for the Roy Wayland Gallery of Western Art in the Phoenix Art Museum.

We appreciate the historic, as well as the contemporary culture of the western United States and a major objective of the Western Art Associates is to contribute to the preservation and wider appreciation of documentary and contemporary art of this area.  Through special meetings, seminars, group travel, and visits to private collections, the WAA will provide opportunities for members to become better acquainted with Western art and with contemporary artists.

Please explore and enjoy this site, get to know what WAA is all about, and consider joining us in our support of western American art at Phoenix Art Museum.  Thank You.
