Western Art Associates plans an Annual Field Trip each year to provide an opportunity for members of WAA to see good western art in museums and private collections, and visit artists in their homes and studios. 

In past years, WAA has visited:

Jackson and Cody, Wyoming

Santa Fe, Taos, and Ruidoso, New Mexico

Great Falls, Helena, Big Sky, and Bozeman, Montana

Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma

Kerrville, San Antonio, and Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas

Denver, Vail, Loveland, and Boulder, Colorado

Kalispell, Whitefish, and Big Fork, Montana

Carmel, California

Salt Lake City, Utah

St. Louis, Missouri

Oaxaca, Mexico

Western Art Associates also plans a Mini Field Trip each year to visit cultural venues that are within easy driving distance of the Museum.

In past years, WAA has visited Sedona, Flagstaff, Tucson, Wickenburg, and Prescott, Arizona
